Assessments

What Can I Expect?

You will be a part of 1 or more assessment sessions to review your history and complete a variety of psychological and/or neuropsychological health measures to answer the referral question. For comprehensive evaluations, you will have a feedback session where the results, reports, and recommendations are reviewed with you.

Unfortunately, most insurances will not pay for either the type of assessments listed below or length of time required to do a quality psychological assessment and we do not want to sacrifice the quality and usefulness of our evaluations. Due to this, we can only accept BCBS insurance for two of the assessments identified below

Psychological Evaluation

Often referred to as “psych evals,” these are often needed to satisfy court-ordered requirements. Includes a clinical interview to review major mental health concerns or symptoms past and present based on observations, self-report, and the reason for the assessment. A report with any relevant diagnoses and individualized recommendations will be provided.
